New Video Series: Dog Walk Talks
Happy Friday! I am SO happy to finally be seeing some sunshine these days - anyone feel me?
I have two high-energy rescue mutts who love to get their daily dose of vitamin D along with some exercise, so I've started a new video series of Dog Walk Talks - shorter videos on my YouTube channel where we talk about some quick veterinary myths or pet care topics while we take one of my dogs for a walk. It's a great way to keep my pups active and help me get in a few steps after baking all day!
In my first video, we're busting 5 veterinary myths that you can commonly find on the internet. Take a walk with me, and let's dig in!
One point discussed in the description of my video deals with Myth #3 about grain-free dog food. The FDA is currently investigating a possible link between grain-free diets and dilated cardiomyopathy, a dangerous heart condition in dogs. Their current position states that this issue may be complex and the result of several factors, but their current research is published on their site. Check out the links below for sources and more information regarding the veterinary myths I discussed in my video!
